Ard Geelkerken from Hittech Multin and his sailing mate Enno Kramer finished in third place on the World Championship FD Class last week in their boat sponsored by Hittech.

Under excellent sailing conditions, the World Championships were held in the Abel Tasman Bay near Nelson (New Zealand) with 41 boats from 10 different countries. Right from the start it was already clear which teams were going to compete for the podium. In the course of the week it turned out who were fastest with most matches sailed at wind force of 5 or higher. Under these circumstances the Hungarians finally won their 13th world title. After a few years of absence, Ard and Enno have returned on the podium with a beautiful bronze medal.
