Business developments at Semicon SEA 2026

At SEMICON SEA in Kuala Lumpur, we introduced JJ Chua (Jin Jeong), the new Director of Commercial Operations APAC from Hittech Wemac (first photo, right). To his left are Philip Bakker (Director Sales at Hittech Multin) and Hittech Group‘s CCO, Ralph Stassen.

This year, we are once again participating in the Netherlands Pavilion, where 18 companies are demonstrating their expertise in advanced manufacturing, high-tech equipment, and integrated supply chains.

Philip Bakker: β€˜It’s great to be here with the Netherlands trade mission, meeting with all the semiconductor parties in Southeast Asia to discuss collaboration. Things are moving quickly here; there’s a significant shift in the semiconductor industry towards this region. And it’s especially nice to meet the management team from Hittech Wemac in Malaysia to contribute as much as possible to this major development.’

We thank BOM (Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij), Brainport Industries, Oost NL, Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malaysia.
