When machines follow the products

Transferring products from one manufacturing location to another is often easier said than done. Although it may seem easy at first glance, companies that have attempted such an endeavour know its difficulties and should not underestimate this process.

At Hittech, we have a lot of experience transferring products, and our number one priority is ensuring our customers don’t encounter any hiccups in their supply. Therefore, quality and on-time deliveries are meticulously managed, and products are qualified and tested before the new manufacturing location is released to the customer.

Marco Verloop, the Hittech Group COO: “In this particular case, we take a copy exactly to the next level by transferring not only the product, but also the machines on which the products are manufactured. We are transferring two Haas Automation Europe NV VM6 high-performance vertical milling machines and two DMG MORI DMU milling machines from companies in the Netherlands to Hittech Prontor, Germany. In the meantime, a Matsuura KW 11 milling machine, weighing 16 tons, has been removed.
Volker Kiefer, Managing Director at Hittech Prontor GmbH: “With the newly installed machines we’ve received from our sister company Hittech Bihca, we’re expanding our range of machine capabilities and unlocking exciting new opportunities with significant future potential. Another part of this upgrade is the newly integrated climate control system. It ensures consistently top-level quality by minimising temperature fluctuations – a crucial factor for absolute precision.”
