SEMICON
The high-tech modules and components we develop and produce are ultra-precise and super-clean
Modern computer chips contain tens of billions of transistors, a number that will increase in the coming years. This evolution places growing demands on the semiconductor equipment that manufactures these new chips. We play a vital role in the semiconductor industry's ongoing developments by developing and producing modules and components that enhance the equipment’s speed, accuracy, and reliability.
In this field, mechanical dimensions are measured in micrometres, one-thousandth of a millimetre. Working at a minuscule scale requires ultra-precise and super-clean parts and modules. To achieve this, Hittech Group employs assembly specialists and maintains Grade 4 and Grade 2 cleanroom facilities, along with experts in cleanliness and contamination control. For over 25 years, this commitment has established us as an experienced and solid development and production partner for demanding customers in high-tech sectors.

Our commitment to curiosity and learning drives our innovation and enhances our skills. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and never settle for the status quo. Our technical expertise, experience, strong supply chain, and effective project management make us the ideal partner for managing the entire product life cycle, from prototypes to economically viable series products.
Solutions
Mechatronics
Many semiconductor processes require precise positioning. By gaining a deep understanding of the physical processes, mechanics, electronics, and software and combining this knowledge with our manufacturing techniques and assembly expertise, we can significantly contribute to realising our customers' mechatronic products.
We have developed advanced testing and assembly equipment in-house across various locations to produce mechatronic modules. During assembly and testing procedures, we can utilise ESD-protected areas, optical test rooms, and classified clean rooms when necessary. This allows us to assemble and test various products and modules under specific and often demanding conditions.

Vacuum and clean work
To achieve a super-clean product, cleanliness must be addressed from the initial design stage through to final production. We have extensive expertise in cleanliness, covering aspects such as design, material selection, manufacturing techniques, and final assembly.
To ensure no dust or dirt enters the product during the assembly and testing phases, we have established cleanrooms within Hittech Group that comply with the highest standards and requirements. We are capable of cleaning both components and finished products in-house. We can test them using RGA equipment, ensuring they can be reliably used in high-end applications, even under high vacuum conditions.
Automation solutions
We collaborate with our clients in the semiconductor industry to enhance processes for more efficient, faster, and more accurate chip production. Our efforts aim to significantly contribute to the full or partial automation of processes and material handling. This automation improves quality and increases throughput and process reliability. Additionally, reducing the number of human operations positively impacts total production costs.

Optomechanics
We have extensive experience developing and manufacturing optical systems, including aligning and glueing optics and precision components. Our applications range from interferometry and marker detection to aberration measurements. In our design process, we use specialised raytracing software, such as OpticStudio. For production and assembly, we implement advanced surface treatments and bonding techniques. As a result, our detection and analysis systems are becoming increasingly accurate, enabling industry and science to innovate more quickly and effectively.

Parts production
Hittech Group operates facilities in the Netherlands, Germany, and Malaysia, specialising in high-end turning, milling, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). We focus on high precision and complexity for small to medium production runs, working with materials such as titanium, aluminium, steel, and high-performance alloys.
In addition to parts manufacturing, we offer value-added services, including anodising, nickel plating, and wet coating, to comply with the most stringent surface quality requirements. Our collaboration with clients ensures optimised component design and production processes. Our manufacturing capabilities include supply chain management (SCM), assembly services, residual gas analysis (RGA), cleanroom assembly, and laser welding. For designing and producing 3D-printed parts, we partner with specialists in selective laser sintering (SLS) and direct metal deposition (DMD).

Assembly & testing
High-tech markets require agility, rapid innovation and specialised knowledge. Hittech Group operates assembly activities in several of its companies, each with its own specialisation. We collaborate with our customers to define which location suits their needs best.
Our assembly process includes process development, parts manufacturing, and component sourcing, covering submodules to complete products. We maintain strict quality standards with in-house developed qualification tools. We address specific needs, such as CE marking or ISO13485 certification for medical products and cleanroom Grade 2 and Grade 4 conditions. We provide expertise in adhesive application and optical alignment, emphasising the importance of thorough work preparation for quality and efficiency.

Supply chain management
We understand the importance of collaboration throughout the supply chain to serve our customers successfully. We relieve our customers' burdens by leveraging our global supply chain, which includes various suppliers with various competencies and specialisations. We can optimise the entire chain effectively when all our suppliers recognise our shared goals and challenges.
Our supply chain management also ensures that our operations scale flexibly to meet changing customer demands. Any changes are implemented in a controlled manner to maintain a continuous supply. We have a strong foundation of manufacturing companies and expertise in manufacturability and production technologies. Because the different Hittech Group ompanies are integral to the supply chain, we provide our customers with flexibility, continuity, and reliability.

Project management
Project management is a crucial competency at Hittech Group, and we are dedicated to excelling in this area. Our goal is to ensure that customers are so satisfied with the execution of their projects that they are eager to entrust us with their next project. Our project teams possess a deep understanding of how to balance the quality of the final product, project costs, and the constant pressure of deadlines.
This balance creates a competitive advantage for both our clients and our organisation. Across our project teams, we actively foster a proactive attitude and promote open communication. This success is rooted in our extensive experience in the manufacturing industry and the ongoing training we provide to our employees.

Materials
Our foundry specialises in sand casting complex products from high-quality aluminium alloys. With a modern production line that includes casting robots and computer-controlled sand preparation, we can economically produce series from a few dozen to over 10,000 pieces.
At RSP Technology, we develop and produce so-called superalloys, which combine aluminium and silicon for specialised applications like dynamic moving systems or optical components. The ultra-fast cooling process (1,000,000 ºC/s) creates a very specific alloy with a refined microstructure and enhanced properties like damping, stiffness, strength, and natural frequency.
