In just three months, our team at Hittech Wemac in Malaysia completed a new 650-square-metre cleanroom in compliance with ISO 14644 Class 7, meeting temperature, humidity, and ESD requirements at their new plant in Penang. But that’s not all, says their managing director, Paul Morach: ‘While the cleanroom is ready for manufacturing, we are already waiting for additional CNC milling machines.’
The speed and efficiency of the preparations and construction of the new clean room left a huge impression on him. Paul Morach: ‘I have been working in Malaysia for almost thirty years, and the speed and quality of construction continue to amaze me. Just look at the video we made. Everything was completed within the already tight schedule. We could not have achieved this without the professionals from ELCO Advance Engineering Sdn Bhd.’
Although production at the new facility has started, Paul and his team are preparing to install several new CNC milling machines in batches in 2026 to further boost their production capacity. Paul: ‘Working with semicon and analytical equipment clients is never boring, especially in the Malaysian region. I can’t wait for the next challenge!
