The Hittech Wemac annual company dinner was a colourful and cultural celebration that highlighted the companyโs appreciation for its team of over 80 professionals. Uvashini Vasuthaven-Shini, their HR Manager, looks back on a successful evening.
Uvashini: โIt was wonderful to see how everyone dressed in various traditional outfits from their Asian countries of origin. In the third photo, you can see our managing director, Paul Morach, surrounded by colleagues in traditional Nepalese attire, where orange is strongly linked with spirituality and Hindu-Buddhist traditions. Paul himself wore a Chinese costume, but most colleagues were dressed in Baju Kurung, sarees, Punjabi suits, Lenggas and cheongsam from Malaysia, as you can see in the first photo.
Our annual dinner event is our way of demonstrating loyalty to employees and expressing our appreciation for their commitment to the company. Each year, we present service awards to employees who have served 5 years or more to acknowledge their dedication. We also awarded a 13-year service award.
I am very proud of the Hitttech family here in Malaysia, and I look forward to expanding the team with over ten new job openings we will publish on our website soon.โ
