Dennis Verbeek is the new CFO of Hittech Group, effective September 2025. “Hittech Group has a very bright future, and my mission is to guide the group into the next phase,” says Dennis. Dennis has a long and impressive career, spanning over a decade at Dutch Railways and Volker Wessels Telecom, and he has spent the last eight years at Aalberts, where he has held roles in finance, business development and M&A.
Dennis: “The great thing about working at Aalbers was the opportunity they gave me to try different things and step outside my comfort zone. Broadening my horizons, moving from finance to sales, was a very interesting step. Being responsible for acquiring companies in the semicon field brought it all together. Whether you are acquiring new companies, doing sales, or understanding the numbers, you need to go out there. Visit those companies, talk, drink lots of coffee in my case, and see what’s going on behind the stories.”
What brought you to Hittech Group?
Dennis: “The group is smaller and leaner than the previous ones I worked for. I love that: it means we have short communication lines but big ambitions. I am much more connected to the businesses here at Hittech. After my first month of deep-diving into the companies within the Hittech group, I feel there is good energy and momentum. My goal is to make the group ready for the next step and the upcoming expansions.”
