Hittech Comac continues assembly of robots

After four years of assembling the H2L Robotics Tulip Robot, our colleagues at Hittech Comac delivered the first two Potector 300 Potato Robots last Friday, March 27 β€” a newly developed module within the H2L Robotics portfolio. For Aard Duivenvoorden, Operations Manager at H2L Robotics, it was a β€˜no-brainer’ to choose Hittech Comac.

As he recalls: β€˜The fact that Hittech Comac handles both assembly and purchasing of the parts makes it the ideal partnership. We are a creative company and can outline our ideas in detail, but we need a reliable partner who can meet the high-quality standards for production.’

Tim Merx, Managing Director at Hittech Comac, explains: β€˜The team at H2L Robotics has decided to outsource the assembly of two new products on top of the one we have been assembling for many years now. The combination of high-quality standards and agility sets us apart from other companies, and choosing us demonstrates their trust in our team. I believe our flexible approach was the deciding factor.’

The H2L Robotics Potector 300 autonomously detects diseases and viruses across three potato varieties. For this robot, H2L Robotics has partnered with Kverneland Benelux, meaning that specially selected dealers from their network are responsible for the sales, service, and support of the Potector 300. The machines pictured will be available for sale in the Netherlands in 2027.
