High-end anodisation by Sebastian Lange
‘High-end anodisation as an integral part of coated parts production’ is the title of a presentation by Sebastian Lange, Manager of Electroplating & Anodizing at Hittech Prontor GmbH, at the Manufacturing Technology Conference in Veldhoven (NL) on April 17.
Sebastian Lange: “In my presentation, I will discuss the demands for the highest surface quality, dimensional accuracy, and component cleanliness. These demands push the limits of what is technically feasible in the high-end surface treatment sector, leaving manufacturers struggling to meet customer requirements. Production processes at every stage, including pre-treatment, must be closely monitored to adhere to tight production tolerances. At Hittech Prontor GmbH, we have operated anodising facilities for over three decades and have developed an integrated process to meet this challenge. The high demand for premium surfaces prompted us to reintroduce nickel plating, drawing upon our 20 years of experience in high-quality nickel plating.”
The Manufacturing Technology Conference will be held on April 17 at the NH Conference Center Koningshof in Veldhoven (NL). Mikrocentrum, with support from partners, is organising it on behalf of the Manufacturing Knowledge Centre. Hosting such events is vital to accelerating knowledge sharing across the supply chain.
